Are you thinking about making a SharePoint site for your project?

SharePoint sites can be great on projects for continuity, convenience, and for your team. But how do you make a SharePoint site specifically to aid and improve your project?

Why make a SharePoint site for projects?

Think of your SharePoint site as your one-stop shop for everything you need on a project. What I love about it is that when you get bombarded with emails from your project team about all the things they need from you, all you need to do is send them the link to the SharePoint site and ensure they have access, and they’ll be good to go.

Then, members of your project team can access what they need themselves, and you don’t need to have your hand on absolutely everything to do with your project. You can let your project team do what they are there to do!

How to create a SharePoint site for projects

To create a SharePoint site, you need to have Office365.

Depending on your organization, you may need to reach out to your IT department to create one for you. Otherwise, you can create one yourself via your Office 365 home page.

Creating a SharePoint site isn’t hard, but there are a few aspects of it that you need to be aware of and certain things that are important to include.

In order to better teach you step-by-step how to create a SharePoint site, I made a YouTube video where I share my screen as I create a SharePoint site from scratch so that you can see all the steps involved and exactly how to make a SharePoint site that is functional for a project.

So, head on over to YouTube with me to learn!
