How to improve your confidence for increased success in your career
Do you ever have days where you just don’t feel confident? Ever give into self-doubt? Maybe you think you’re just not as confident as you could be….
The truth is, we all feel this way sometimes. Confidence is a skill set that you need to develop, and you’re never done developing it. Confidence is one of those skills that you can always improve.
Here are some habits you can implement to boost your confidence!
-
Understand and follow your purpose daily
Understanding and following your purpose will increase your confidence because you can rest assured that you’re doing what you’re meant to do. One way you can accomplish this is to develop a personal vision statement. This will help you make good decisions that align with your purpose.
-
Plan daily… the night before
Part of being confident is being prepared and not having overwhelming stress levels. One way you can avoid too much stress is by understanding what tasks you need to accomplish and planning out your day.
The key here is not to plan 100% of your day – this will just add stress because there will be no room for flexibility when unexpected things come up. Instead, plan for 60%. You’ll have more clarity but will still be flexible to needs that come up in the moment.
-
Establish a morning ME ritual
Honouring and taking care of yourself is another key to self confidence. Give yourself a morning ritual that is all about you. You can do things like waking up early, journaling, or working out. The point is to do something that energizes you and makes you feel good so that you can go about your day with clarity and joy.
Other confidence-boosting habits
These aren’t the only habits that will boost your confidence. In fact, I’ve created a YouTube video that goes into these tips in more detail and includes a bonus tip that you won’t want to miss out on.
